Manhattan School of Music
A native of Korea, pianist Haerin Kim enjoys an active and multifaceted performing career as a soloist, chamber musician and vocal accompanist.
As a child prodigy, she gave her first recital at the age of 11 in Busan, Korea. Ms. Kim is a doctorate candidate studying with Heasook Rhee in Collaborative Piano at the Manhattan School of Music where she received Master of Music.
She holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Piano Solo studying with one of the most renowned pianists in Korea, Kye-Ryung Suh at the Kyung-Hee University. She also performed in masterclasses by Russell Sherman, Choong-Mo Kang, Lambert Orkis, Charles Neidich, Jorja Fleezanis, Kelly Hall-Tompkins, Philippe Cuper, Shai Wosner, and Thomas Demenga.
Ms. Kim has been working as a pianist for renowned faculty members such as Philippe Muller, David Geber, Julia Lichten, Patinka Kopec, Nicholas Mann, Todd Phillips, Sheryl Staples, Maitland Peters, and Neil Rosenshein at the Manhattan School of Music.
