This beautiful recording, production and rehearsal studio in the centre of Amsterdam is as authentic as it can get. With a long and famous history since starting as a rehearsal space for punk rockers in 1986, IJland Studio has seen a long range of famous users with the likes of Brian Eno, 50 Cent, Damon Albarn, Peter Doherty, Khruangbin, Jungle and many more, all of them expressing their love for the place. Now it's available to all.

From local heroes to established artists, everybody loves IJland Studio from the moment they set foot in it. With it's calm, shabby-chique and warm appearance, it resembles the living room all of us wish we had. Famous for its superb acoustics, 100% soundproof, two production suites, an amazing sounding Yamaha U1 and Ludwig champagne sparkle maple drum kit, alongside a Rhodes, Wurlitzer and many fantastic guitars and amps, percussion instruments... IJland Studio always inspires and gets the best out of people.

Available for recording, rehearsal, mixing and production sessions. May it be in full privacy or with the help of one of our friendly engineers, we can work out what works best for you. Prices listed are for recording with an engineer. Rehearsals are €30 less.

Easily accessible by tram from Amsterdam Central Station (6mins), the famous Leidseplein (15mins), or even by boat. The relaxed café-restaurant with outside terrace (Fosco) and the classy Hoxton Lloyd Hotel as our neighbours and all necessary shops across the road. It's just great
