Description
Vinci, in the province of Florence, is giving birth to the Mulino del Ronzone, a Residential Centre for Art and Musical Production.
Already largely renovated, the Mulino del Ronzone is located on land that until the mid-1800s belonged to the family of Leonardo da Vinci, the Florentine genius of the Renaissance, who was born right here 500 years ago. Work has begun in two rooms on the ground floor, which the Association intends to fit out in such a way as to provide the artists who will come to the Mulino with the possibility of realizing their projects. The musicians and other artists who wish to experience the strong evocative stimulus of these places are indissolubly linked to Leonardo staying as guests even for several days. They will be able to create, work in a team, and even record their creations in a specially prepared structure.
The Mulino also opens up to residential workshops and moments of encounter and exchange with the surrounding communities.
The studio production facilities are on their way to being completed.
