Description

In the historical center of the state capital Potsdam there are many opportunities to hold a wide variety of events. This concert and event house offers you the framework not only for concerts of various genres and equipment, but also for congresses, staff meetings, company presentations, events and receptions, right up to filming.

As a mixture of different epochs and styles, the venue's architecture impresses with bold details (such as the wave-shaped ceiling and the gently curved, bulged walls of the concert hall) and sophisticated material contrasts. In the spirit of the great Voltaire, with whom Frederick the Great once had a lively philosophical exchange in Potsdam, the architect Rudy Ricciotti wants his work at the Nikolaisaal to be understood as an "expression of freedom in a city with liberal traditions".

The Foyer offers two levels with variable seating options and is suitable for receptions and events as well as for concerts and exhibitions.
