Grand Piano
This extremely rare example of a medieval town house from the late 13th century is situated at the very centre of Prague, in Old Town Square. It has a stunning, richly decorated Gothic front façade, which was uncovered during the last large-scale reconstruction in the course of which the building’s pseudo-Baroque façade was entirely removed. Extensive archaeological and construction research of the building began in 1961, followed by its reconstruction in 1972–1987, after which the building was returned to its original Gothic appearance.
The Stone Bell House is administered by the Prague City Gallery. The space on the third floor of the building, the Concert Hall, is offered for hire by the Gallery. The space is suitable for organising wedding ceremonies, concerts and smaller-scale social events – gala evenings and conferences.
