The magnificent former dining room of Prince Paul I offers space for up to 80 people.
The magnificent Empire Hall, facing the inner courtyard of the palace, originally served as the princely dining room and received its noble classicist "face" at the end of the 18th century, which is still preserved in its original form today.
Under Prince Nicholas II (1765-1833), the former Small Table Room also underwent its classicist transformation. The wallpaper in today's "Empire Hall" dates from around 1800. The Empire Hall is located on the courtyard side of the south wing, wall to wall with the Hall of Mirrors and the Small Chinese Salon. The name is due to the decoration of the hall in the Empire style, which was carried out at the beginning of the 19th century.
