Biography
First Prize Winner of the American Protégé International Music Competition, Simon Shaham has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, the DiMenna Center, the Liederkranz Concert Hall, the National Opera America Center, and Tenri Cultural Institute, as a soloist and chamber musician. 8-year-old Simon Shaham is a 2nd grade student at Horace Mann School and has been studying piano since the age of 5 under the tutelage of Dr. Yoojung Kim. While mastering and expanding his repertoire, he transposes them and writes his own tunes as well. Simon also plays violin and is fond of playing duos with his violinist siblings. In addition to his passion for the piano and violin, Simon enjoys swimming, basketball, writing stories, video games and experimenting in science. Simon resides in New York City with his parents, brother Elijah and sister Ella.
