The Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross , called the Piarist Church after the Piarist order, is a significant landmark of the town of Litomyšl. This baroque pearl of East Bohemia has undergone extensive reconstruction in recent years and is one of the few churches in our country that can be rented for the purpose of organizing a wedding ceremony or cultural event . The church premises can host both religious and civil wedding ceremonies . In addition to weddings, the main nave of the church is also used as a concert and exhibition space .
As part of events held on the Castle Hill, the premises can be rented for the purpose of implementing an accompanying program. For example, preparing a short musical performance or organizing a small organ concert . Afterwards, it is possible to tour the exhibitions located inside the temple and visit the angel's viewpoint . The exhibition Angels on the Hill is installed on the galleries of the temple. The temple premises are decorated, among other things, with art installations by the authors Václav Cígler and Michal Motyčka.
The Castle Hill in Litomyšl is one of the most popular wedding venues in the region. In addition to the Piarist Church, there are several other places suitable for holding wedding ceremonies. Examples include the halls of the Castle Brewery or the castle gardens.
