Mario Costanzi was born in Genoa on 03 February 1963.

He now lives in Vinci (FI).

He earned Master’s degree in PHILOSOPHY – GREGORIAN PONTIFICAL UNIVERSITY, ROME 1996 and Master’s degree in COMMUNICATION SCIENCES - SALESIAN PONTIFICAL UNIVERSITY, ROME – 2001.
He performed in Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Pavia, Barletta and others. He had a live concert activity along 30 years all around Italy, published three official Music-CDs with Morning Star Music (Empoli - FI); DWA (MS) and Terre Sommerse (Roma) and collaborated in other music production with several music labels such as BAM Music – Switzerland, Città Nuova - Roma and Extempora - SI Italy.

He is now a music teacher in various primary schools in Empoli and other towns around Florence. He also direct the main Children’s choir in Empoli (FI).
As founder and president of an important no profit organization called Associazione SUONAMIDITE, he carries out many charity events and projects.

Mario Costanzi is also a long experienced Music-therapist for dementia and Alzheimer, autism, youth and educational centers. He is a researcher in Music-therapy and has been invited as a presenter in the XI National Dementias Convention at ISTITUTO SUPERIORE DI SANITA’ in Rome in November 2017 and in the 44^th Annual CAMT Conference in St. John’s NL – Canada 2018. He is a teacher in Music therapy at “Le Troc Academy” – Florence and “Soc. Coop MINERVA” – Empoli (FI).

I am a music composer and songwriter and composer for Musicals and Theatre performances.

My specialization in the last years is artistic and mainly musical pedagogy applied to social projects or educational plots, group courses centered on music and society

In general art applied to social context, combine music and social events, art and science

2 years ago I’ve been involved in a project concerning music art and disaster risk management, especially for youth people and children

I’ve built up and direct a daily workshop during a month in Milan at the Museum Leonardo da Vinci teaching people to think and act about risk prevention and ethical values related to it.
