Biography
Second Prize Winner of the American Protégé International Music Competition, Caitlyn Tablada started playing piano at age eight under the instruction of Dr. Yoojung Kim. As a soloist and chamber musician, she has performed at venues such as Steinway Hall, The National Opera America Center, W.M.P. Concert Hall, Ann Goodman Recital Hall at Kaufman Music Center, the Liederkranz Foundation Concert Hall, the Dimenna Center, Tenri Cultural Institute, and recently made her Carnegie Hall debut in December, 2019. She has a wide and diverse repertoire ranging from J.S. Bach to contemporary composers, with a particular interest in Romantic and Contemporary music. Caitlyn is a 9th grader at Trinity School in New York. Her other favorite hobbies include singing, improvising music, soccer, tennis and reading.
