Located in Schallmoos at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg, kleines theater has been an essential part of Salzburg’s cultural landscape for over 30 years. Set in a distinctive vaulted space, it hosts a wide range of productions — from theater and cabaret to concerts, youth and children’s performances.
Many renowned artists, including Josef Hader and Alfred Dorfer, began their careers here. Today, kleines theater continues to present a rich mix of the German-language cabaret and theater scene, making it a hub for creativity and independent performance.
Next door, the Urbankeller restaurant offers a perfect place for post-show conversations and artistic exchange.
