Pianist
Jamie Seyoung Choi
Classical, jazz pianist and collaborative pianist, Jamie Choi was born in Busan, South Korea. His early musical talent led him to learn music seriously by entering Peniel High School of the Arts at his young age.
In 2011, he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Piano from Chungang University in South Korea with Hyekyung Lee. He won piano competitions and received a merit-based scholarship for his undergraduate program.
While he was studying classical music, he was also intrigued pop, jazz and musical theatre genres, and it finally made him decide learning jazz seriously.
He graduated NYU, holding a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies. He has been studying jazz piano with Alan Broadbent, and jazz arranging with Alan Ferber and Rich Shemaria, and he is currently pursuing another master’s degree in Collaborative Piano program in Piano Studies at NYU.
He covers multiple music genres including classical, jazz, and Broadway music. As a classical solo pianist, he studied and performed music spanning many genres. As a member of "Piano IN", he performed in numerous concerts. He has also extensively studied piano ensemble and chamber music, and performed as a member of "Piacevole." He worked as an assistant music director and pianist in the musical theatre scene in New York and Seoul. He has performed as a collaborative pianist for churches, choirs, instrumentalists, and vocalists. He studied musical theatre with Stan Tucker and Jefferey Saver. As a jazz pianist and arranger, his first album Flowing Tide… will be released in 2020.

Jaehyun Cho
A native of South Korea, Jaehyun Cho's career began to blossom when he moved to Los Angeles to attend California State University, Northridge in 2015 and to study with Gary Pratt and Dave Robaire. After graduated from CSUN, he continued to purse his academic goal and musical experiences, he moved to New York City in 2018 and began to study at NYU with Drew Gress, Billy Drummond and Chris Potter. Cho currently recorded his debut album in 2019 with Alex Sipiagin on Trumpet, Rich Perry on Tenor, Nery Kim on Piano and Mark Ferber on drum set.
Flutist
Ji Yun Kim
Ji Yun Kim is a jazz flutist and an emerging composer from South Korea, Seoul. She graduated from The New School in 2018 and currently in NYU jazz graduate program. Ji Yun was born in 1995, April and she started flute at the age of 7, joining the college flute orchestra as the youngest member at the age of 10. Kim not only participated in the recording of a theme song of one of the famous Korean drama “Fated to Love You,” but also won the Downbeat Music Award lead by Reggie Workman in 2016. Moreover, she has built her career by having various experiences such as performing with Ingrid Jensen, in her orchestra. Ji Yun recorded her first album in New York with Alex Sipiagin, Adam Rogers, Andy Mckee, Mark Ferber, and Hayoung Lyou that will be soon released.
