Biografie

Octavio has lived and worked professionally as a pianist and producer in Argentina, the Netherlands, Spain, Uruguay, and the United States. He is, by definition, a traveling musician and producer. In Uruguay, he co-created the FIJJI 2025 (José Ignacio International Jazz Festival), organizing concerts for international figures and award-winners such as Daniel “Pipi" Piazzolla, Santiago Vázquez (la bomba de tiempo), Diego Schissi (Diego Schissi Quinteto), and Gabriel Grossi (all GRAMMY Award nominees and winners). As a pianist, mainly in Spain, his collaborations with Rosalía Vila, Bill McHenry, and bandoneonist Martín Sued stand out. In Barcelona (2009-2015) he helped discover local talent and collaborated with artists including Rosalia, Juliane Heinemann, Maia Vidal and Gigi McFarlane. In 2014, Octavio created his own Music Studio, Oto Music House, converting an abandoned warehouse into a fashionable loft and music studio where he organized live musical performances for the Airbnb Experiences portfolio. He is actually settled in Uruguay, producing his second Album, in the formation of Jazz Trío (Drums, Double Bass & acoustic piano).
