Make Music Winter Festival 2019
Music Traveler is proud to be partnered with Make Music New York this year for the wonderful Winter Festival in New York City. For the first time Piano City festival is invited to be a part of Make Music Winter Festival.Make Music Winter is a free, outdoor, participatory musical event that turns audiences into music makers. It will be held on December 21 – the shortest day of the year – with twelve musical parades around the city, open for all to join. This year, Make Music Winter is spreading nationwide. Join a parade near you, or start up one of your own! Whatever your wintertime musical dreams, anything is possible. And all of it is free, joyful, and profoundly participatory.We're excited to announce the first program for Make Music Day on Saturday the 21st of December! With Piano City, a stunning showcase of pianists of all ages, levels and styles will be presented at the Oculus from 9am to 10pm at the World Trade Center. The second showcase of pianists will be presented at the St John's In The Village Church beginning at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. Join us all for Make Music Day!
