Since its reopening in 1991, this location in the old town of Mainz has been the cultural center of the city. International and local stars have made this place well known beyond the Rhine-Main area. The cultural program thrives on a genre mix of national, international and local artists as well as multicultural offers, classical music, theater, exhibitions and pop culture.

The foyer is connected to the gallery foyer by a self-supporting staircase. The 440m² foyer on two floors is ideal as a catering and performance area for events, exhibitions and concerts.
