As one of the most beautiful and as the largest open-air arena in Europe, the St. Margarethen Quarry forms an imposing backdrop not only for cultural events. This natural, over 7,000 m² open-air event area is unique thanks to its acoustics and impressive atmosphere. The combination of natural and artificial architecture of the quarry shows beyond the music emotional effect on all event visitors.
The artists' house on two floors offers a modern infrastructure, which make product presentations, cultural events, company celebrations or automotive events in the midst of the impressive rock theater unforgettable events. The quarry is also a suitable backdrop for unique photo shoots and film shoots. Nestled in the Lake Neusiedl region, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the location in St. Margarethen also scores with its proximity to the popular cultural cities of Eisenstadt and Rust. The St. Margarethen Quarry is also a certified Green Event location.
